If so, you may be just who we are looking for!  We need an ace Head of People Operations.  Someone who gets an adrenaline rush from developing and executing the million moving parts of a company’s People Operations strategy.  But most importantly someone who at the end of the day knows that People Operations success is calculated in its ROI and how it supports the company’s bottom line.

What you’ll do: As our Head of People Operations, you will be responsible for the department’s The Head of People Ops is leader and team builder on a quest to support and level up not only their own team but every employee at the company.  You must be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, possess great communication skills, have the ability to think 6 to 12 month into the future and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. Key Responsibilities:  What will I do? (…the list below and so much more!)

Strategy

  • Achieve People Ops OKRs
  • Develop strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation etc.)
  • Maintain and refine incentive compensation and bonus structures
  • Build and maintain Job Architecture
  • Collaborate with management team to craft the company’s strategic plans
  • Analyze the effectiveness of People Ops operations and policies
  • Prepare reports for the Founders using business metrics and KPIs
  • Re-engineer People Ops processes to ensure maximum efficiency

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement new compliance policies
  • Ensure that the company complies with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain Employee Handbook
  • Design and direct training programs

People Ops Team Experience

  • Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
  • Hire staff and negotiate staff employment agreements
  • Manage and level up People Ops staff

Qualifications: What does it take to do this job? 

  • 7-10 years in a Senior HR leadership role
  • Experience working for a startup company highly preferred
  • SHRM/SPHR or better highly preferred 
  • Putting the company’s people and culture at the center of the company’s strategy
