Who we are: Prokeep is a software company that has developed a messaging platform for the construction industry – a $17 billion industry! Our team is nimble and devoted to making our customers' lives easier with simple-to-use technology…and our customers love us for this! We envision a world where all distributors will use our tools to be more efficient, and to be able to build stronger relationships with their customers. Our SaaS product has generated significant traction in a short period of time, which is where you come in: to help build awareness and accelerate our growth.

What you’ll do: As Prokeep’s Director of Marketing, you’ll develop and have a hand in executing an annual marketing strategy aimed at doubling our YOY revenue. You’ll devise the strategic vision and plan for how we leverage all available channels to drive new business, product adoption and brand love, and you’ll oversee the creative engine that will fuel it all. This will include overseeing the variety of testing, reporting and optimizing that needs to happen across all channels and personas to hit our goals. In addition to coaching and scaling a small marcomm army to help make it all happen you’ll work with all departments of the company and present ideas and results to get everyone up to speed on the marketing engine that fuels our sales pipeline and customer lifecycle.  Oh, and if you’re truly made of the right stuff… you’ll naturally evolve our brand in a way that wins the entire construction industry over.

Responsibilities: What will you do?

  • Develop long-term marcomm plans that target multiple buyer personas to meet key business objectives (i.e. a measurable pipeline and closed revenue are music to your ears, and you find ‘one-size fits’ all marketing archaic… maybe even offensive!)
  • Know the ins-and-outs of tech marketers and their pain points and personalities to craft spot-on programs that ultimately get the construction industry drinking the blue Prokeep Kool-Aid and buying our solutions
  • Identify and manage the creation of effective content to drive marketing outcomes
  • Coach and scale a team of marcomm channel experts to bring the holistic plan to life
  • Infuse all Prokeep touch points with the approachable yet confident brand personality that sets us apart from the traditional tech brands
  • Work with Creatives, Product Management, Sales, Customer success, and Executive Management (i.e. the whole motley crew here!) to help prioritize business critical marketing needs and investments and make tradeoffs as necessary
  • Drive new product and feature launches to existing clients, new prospects as well as across the organization
  • Cultivate customer relationships and build an arsenal of handy references, case studies, and tech marketers willing to help us spread the word

Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?

  • 15+ years of marketing communications experience with a proven track record in demand gen for a fast-paced, agile B2B company (i.e. come ready to talk #s as far as what you’ve done…and know that tech start up experience gives you a leg up)
  • Glowing references on how you’ve led and scaled marcomm teams amid growth
  • A PASSION for brand communications and the skill set to prove it -- complete with stripes in email, events, social, SEO, content marketing and marketing analytics (we’ll want to hear about what you’ve hands-on DONE, not simply what you’ve “strategized”)
  • Experience managing segmented markets with multiple verticals and using marketing automation software to make it all happen (HubSpot-savvy gets you bonus points!)
  • Sales-related references willing to rave about how you ‘ve developed and delivered sales tools and campaigns that drove win rates and revenue that’s directly attributable to your marketing masterminding
  • Adaptability and a willingness to experiment is key (fail-fast, fast-cheap, fail forward!)
  • Ability to drive outcomes across a diverse team and organization full of strong personalities and opinions (a.k.a. people respect you, listen to you… and like you)
  • Grace under fire (i.e. you can make critical decisions and problem solve amid chaos)
  • Copywriting can-do (i.e. you gotta be able to nail the Prokeep style!) and some public speaking and presentation chops won’t hurt either
  • Approachable confidence (i.e. you know your stuff, but aren’t afraid to explore new ideas/approaches)
  • FUN! We need you to translate your own dynamic energy into the Prokeep brand!
